LAT Conference 2025 – Wednesday 25th June 2025
We are delighted to offer our International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) students the opportunity to participate in the LAT Conference at Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy, Green Street, Green Rd, Dartford DA1 1RB on Wednesday 25th June 2025.
This conference is an opportunity for students to hear from various IBCP speakers, collaborate with others in workshops, and present their work and ideas to a wider audience. IBCP students from across the Trust will attend and participate in the conference in a collaborative and engaging environment.
The dress code is smart business wear, and students can bring a packed lunch or purchase it from the school canteen via ParentPay. A packed lunch will be provided if your child is entitled to free school meals. The event will start at 10am and finish at 2pm. We will travel to and from the venue by minibus and will arrive at the Academy at approximately 2.30pm.
The Agenda is as follows:
- 10.15am-11.15am: Arrival
- 11.15am-11.30am: Session 1: Critical Thinking
- 11.30am-12.30pm: Session 2: Leadership
- 12.30pm-1.00pm: Lunch
- 1.00pm-1.45pm: Student Presentations
- 2pm: Departure
