Dear Parent/Carer,

Year 11 and 13 Easter Half Term School Sessions

As we approach the Easter half-term break, I am writing to inform you of the revision sessions available to students over the week commencing Monday 30th March 2026. The sessions are compulsory for all Year 11 and 13 students and will take place between 9am and 12.30pm in the Main Hall at Leigh Academy Halley.

Year 11 and 13 students have had a successful second set of mock examinations, and staff have especially prepared the Easter half-term sessions to give the students the best possible support and guidance they need for their forthcoming final examinations.

The restaurant will be closed, so students are advised to bring snacks and drinks to school. Students may also wear non-uniform clothing during these sessions.

Alongside our Easter half-term sessions, please remember that the Year 11 Parents’ Evening will take place on Wednesday 15th April, from 2:45 pm to 4:45 pm.

Please note that there will be no after-school interventions on that day (15th April), nor will there be any.

In addition to the revision sessions, all students will be provided with homework to complete during the Easter holidays and extra resources to support them as they prepare for their exams; students can access the resources on their Google Classroom.

If you would like further information regarding the above sessions, please contact the Academy through the respective small school at the email addresses here.

Yours faithfully

Mr Jonathan Kamya
