Y12 Royal Borough of Greenwich Apprenticeship Summit – Tuesday 11th February 2025
I am pleased to inform you that your child has been selected to attend the 2025 Royal Borough of Greenwich Apprenticeship Summit at Woolwich Works on Tuesday 11th February. The Apprenticeship Summit is designed to inspire and inform students about apprenticeship opportunities across various industries and offers the following opportunities:
- Presentations from leading apprenticeship organisations about the wide range of apprenticeships available.
- Insights from current apprentices, who will share their experiences and career journeys.
- Industry guidance and practical advice on accessing apprenticeships.
- Networking opportunities with employers, apprenticeship providers, and peers who can support their future career plans.
Event: Y12 Royal Borough of Greenwich Apprenticeship Summit
Date: Tuesday 11th February, 9.30am to 11.30am
Location: Woolwich Works, 11 No. 1 Street, Royal Arsenal, SE18 6HD.
Travel: 161/178 bus, walk to Woolwich Works (approximately 30 minute travel time)
On Tuesday 11th February, students should arrive at the Academy at the usual time of 8.25am in usual smart business dress. At the start of period 1, Year 12 students should go to the restaurant for registration and preparation for departure. Students will return to the Academy after the event, where they will have lunch and attend their remaining lessons. There is no cost for this event. Please complete this Google Form to confirm your child’s attendance at this event.
This is a valuable opportunity for our Year 12 students who are exploring apprenticeship routes as a possible next step in their career journey.
