Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 12 Parents’ Evening – Thursday 29th January 2026
I am pleased to invite you to our forthcoming Year 12 Parents’ Evening on Thursday 29th January 2026, between 4:00pm – 6:00pm. This is an in-person event where you will have face-to-face appointments with your child’s teachers.
Parents’ Evening is a great opportunity for you to discuss your child’s learning with their subject teachers and find further ways to support your child’s progress in their first year of sixth form education. You and your child must attend to discuss their academic performance and commitment to learning in their courses and receive specific advice on how to improve and succeed in each subject area. You will also have an opportunity to discuss your child’s conduct, attendance/punctuality, and next steps as they prepare for transition after school with a member of the Sixth Form team.
All appointments will be 5 minutes long, (with the exception of those enrolled on T-Level courses (who will have longer meetings). If you wish to have a longer meeting with any staff member, please contact them via hawking@halley.latrust.org.uk to arrange an alternative time.
We will continue to use the highly successful School Cloud Platform which allows you to choose the times of your face-to-face appointment times with teachers.
