Extracurricular Programme – Modules 1 and 2
As we welcome a new academic year, we are delighted to inform you that the extracurricular activities for Modules one and two have now been launched and will commence on Monday 8th September. Morning Football Academy commences on Tuesday 16th September.
Extracurricular activities offer opportunities for our students to develop a broad range of skills and continue to be immensely popular at Leigh Academy Halley. Activities outside of the classroom enable students to apply skills they have learned in the classroom, develop a sense of belonging within the Academy, and improve engagement in learning. The wide number of clubs on offer is also a sign of the dedication and commitment of our staff that all students reach their full potential inside and outside the classroom. Please find the list of the clubs on offer from Module 1 here.
Students can access the clubs list and sign up for as many extracurricular clubs as they wish via this Google Form. The form will remain open all year and is updated for each module, according to the clubs on offer. Each and every club operates on a first-come-first-served basis. Registers for all clubs will be taken by the staff leading the session. All clubs take place on the Academy site and staff will escort students to the front gate at the end of their session. By signing your child up for a club, you agree that they will adhere to all our usual Academy safety and behaviour policies.
